Online Shopping Adventures

I love shopping! It is even more exciting when it comes right to your door! haha Online shopping is kind of exhilarating in a way. At least for me. :) The past few purchases I've made online have been quite successful. It's relieving and gives me hope for the next purchase. haha...

Anyway, speaking of, I've made two new purchases! One from sheinside.com and the other from dsw.com. I've never bought anything from She Inside, but saw a dress and a review from them on another blog and browsed the website. I found something I thought I'd like and bought it!

I also bought a new pair of heels. I've been searching for a pair of white heels. I really wanted an all-over white pair, but found these at dsw. I have another pair in a different color, so I thought since I already loved the other pair I'd just get the white.

I'm excited to get my packages in the mail soon! And hopefully this will stave me off of shopping for a bit... :P

just some randomness

This Sunday a couple weeks ago I wore my white dress, black boots and black & white checkered shirt. I felt so cute. I just got my hair cut and it was weird getting dressed. Getting your hair cut definitely changes what you wear.

Here I am wearing a thrifted skirt I got for my birthday this year. I've only worn it twice! I feel like a grandma in it because it is supposed to hit you on the widest part of the hip. I scrunched it up and used the tie on it to wear it higher.

Here I am as a pirate on Halloween. I had to work so my costume had to be appropriate for work, as in I had to be able to lift stuff and bag stuff. It was fun. Anything to not wear that dumb uniform.

Here am I in my awesome new green striped heels! Woo!

p.s. here is a close up of my hair cut :)

In retrospect...

So here am I at the Draper temple. This used to be my favorite temple. Something about a boy I used to date and blah blah blah. Now it's a tie between Jordan River and Salt Lake. I know the same things happen in each temple, but there are feelings associated with places. Ya know? So that's how I can say I have a favorite.

what happens when you move: forget, dig up, remember, rejoice

Hallelujah

Oh hey.

I really love these shoes. I am usually not a sandal lover and I don't like anything to be around my ankle, so these babies are for sure anomalies in my shoe closet.  I love the colors, though. And they're walkable.

tidbits

Here is my church! It is so awesome. You can't see it very well, but the windows are stain (stained?) glass. They are so awesome inside. Purples and blues and yellows with flowers and such. I asked my husband man if I could take a picture of the chapel and he said I shouldn't... I had never thought about it before, but what do you think about that? Is it okay to take a picture of the chapel on the inside if no one is in there? I'm still not sure.

This is a picture of mine and my dude's rings. I love them so much. I'm not a big jewelry girl, but I kind of wanted my ring to be special.

As glamorous as it gets-Madonna.

Hey. This is my Madonna dress.
I twirl my skirts.

Before I cut my hair I could do this little twisty with my hair and I loved it. I haven't tried it since I cut it after this picture was taken. It made my hair feel a little bit cuter. I also tried putting my hair up on the crown (?) of my head. Yeah, I have no idea about head and hair vocabulary. But anyway, I used to do this little poof thing in high school all the time. I don't know what happened, but this Sunday I decided to do it again. And I liked it. Even though I feel like a boy when I wear my hair up. It's just one of those weird personal things that no one else says is true. You know what I mean?!

I found my wedding dress!

So here's my wedding dress! ( The picture is slightly distorted.) It has petal sleeves, boat neck, lacey lace, and a chiffon skirt. The extra flowers on the skirt will be taken off so the lace is left. This dress is from The Perfect Dress and it was the perfect dress!!! If you can see, the mirror image shows how short it is. I am going to have it hemmed to the bottom of the layer of lace, so it hits my legs at a more flattering length. My friend found the dress on the discount rack that I somehow missed. I was looking through all the other clearance dresses but somehow missed that one. She showed it to me and I grimaced and said fine, alright, I'll try it on. Ha. When I put it on I thought, Holy crap, finally! My friend and I went to another store and the whole time I couldn't stop thinking about this dress. We went back and I bought it. I love it. I felt comfortable and normal in it. Completely myself. It fit what I imagined I wanted and it fits the picnic-y theme of the backyard reception idea I had. I also felt comfortable with my second-day hair.
