that there toe

So a little while back I decided to write about some of the things I love- about myself and just random things. Here is one of the things I love about my self.

My freaky little small toe. ha ha :D
But to slightly distract you, I have included a lovely shot of my engagement ring...ahem... ;)

So that right there on the left side of my foot is my handed-down-through-genes freaky small toe. That toe nail is basically nonexistent and the toe is very round. haha. If I'm ever comparing feet I say, "oh yeah? Well, I've got a freaky small toe!!". It gets everyone.
What is weird is that my uncle and grandma have it, but no one else.
That's all folks!

Havin' fun with blue shirt dude

After my hair adventures post and thoughts, I wanted to try to do my hair curly. It was a little frustrating. It isn't as curly as it used to be. I thought it turned out all right... Just have to be confident, no matter what. Beauty is confidence and happiness. A lot of happiness comes from dude in the blue shirt with messy hair. :)

Last week's hallelujah

Hallelujah!!! It's Sunday! And look at those tall wedge sandals! It's a miracle I didn't fall over!

I twirl my skirts.

Hair adventures!!!

I love changing my hair color!  If you would like, come on an adventure with me through my hair changes over the past few years!

Around 2007. I have chunky blonde highlights here. This is probably my least favorite blonde.

Got a hair cut for high school graduation. 2008.

What the!?!? I'm a cartoon character! haha I just added this for fun.

The following pictures are of me in 2010 on my study abroad in Mexico. I wore my hair curly most days. Something that doesn't happen much now... :/
Mexico is great for curly hair!
Here I am at the Mexico City, Mexico LDS Temple. My hair looked okay even after doing baptisms! Thank you, Mexico.
One of the rare occasions I straightened my hair using a roommates straightener. I went through hair straightening withdrawals and the last days of the study abroad I had to straighten my hair. This is the longest it had been since I got it chopped off 3 years prior. It hits just below my collar bone.
The end of Mexico hair.

Around Spring 2010. I dyed my hair an auburn color.

The next five pictures are of my purple/auburn hair! This is summer of 2010.
I got some blonde 'peekaboo' highlights and I hated them. I seriously do not like highlights. So, I dyed them purple. I knew that it would wash out soon enough and when that would happen I would dye it again.
This hair cut was also not my favorite. Can you see where the bottom layer and the middle layer meet? If I could fix this haircut, I would put in another layer or soften the middle layer so it was so drastic. What I do like about this haircut is that the back is shorter than the front.
Here is the curly version of that hairstyle, in  natural light. In this picture ^ you might be able to see that the purple highlights are turning to a light pink color.
My hair was still curly! Yay! Oh yeah, and I chopped off about 2 inches when I got back from Mexico. The medium long hair was killing me!

Here is a very creepy shot of me and another version of red hair. This is probably fall 2010. I did a lot of hair changing in 2010. It was a crazy year.

Here I am in Winter of 2010/2011. I dyed my hair back to a natural dark color and wore it up and curly. School is a good excuse for not doing your hair. Right? haha

Here is Spring 2011.
No, I am not turning 11. I'm turning 21. haha. There's my handsome uncle in the back trying to be nonchalant about being in a picture. ha. Here you can see, even though my face is washed out, that my hair is more of a sandy blonde/light brown. This has been my favorite dark blonde/light brown so far. I got a weave throughout with two colors that matched my natural color, and the weave was very fine, so it looked more natural than highlights.

Here is late Summer 2011. I dyed my hair a dark burgundy. In the sunlight it apparently looked like blood. um... :S You might be able to see about an inch of roots. That is my natural dark hair. Although I hated what I looked like with red hair, I would continually pick out different colors of reds and try to find the perfect shade. Here I think my skin tone, eyes and eyebrows look the best. Maybe it's because I have some of my natural transitioning to the red... I wonder if this is my final goodbye to red...?

Here is late Spring of 2012! Here I am at Charles de Gaul airport in france, holding what looks like poo, but is actually the most delicious pistachio covered eclair I have ever, and will ever eat in my life! Whew... My hair is dark brown, but is still lighter than my natural dark dark brown!

Before the wedding I'll get an all over color to get my natural back! Or as natural as dyed hair can go.

We're finally done with hair adventures through the years!
(hmm...this whole thing reminds me of Carl Sagan... yeah, I'm nerdy...)

I found my wedding dress!

So here's my wedding dress! ( The picture is slightly distorted.) It has petal sleeves, boat neck, lacey lace, and a chiffon skirt. The extra flowers on the skirt will be taken off so the lace is left. This dress is from The Perfect Dress and it was the perfect dress!!! If you can see, the mirror image shows how short it is. I am going to have it hemmed to the bottom of the layer of lace, so it hits my legs at a more flattering length. My friend found the dress on the discount rack that I somehow missed. I was looking through all the other clearance dresses but somehow missed that one. She showed it to me and I grimaced and said fine, alright, I'll try it on. Ha. When I put it on I thought, Holy crap, finally! My friend and I went to another store and the whole time I couldn't stop thinking about this dress. We went back and I bought it. I love it. I felt comfortable and normal in it. Completely myself. It fit what I imagined I wanted and it fits the picnic-y theme of the backyard reception idea I had. I also felt comfortable with my second-day hair.
